Copy Camera Scans (Up to 309 Megabyte files)

Our state-of-the-art copy lights and Betterlight scanning camera allow us to "cross polarize" the image capture. The result is outstanding reproduction fidelity in color and density. Add $15.00 each for 8.5x11 color proofs if scan is not accompanied by a print order. Deduct 10% from scan price if a print order is included

**For best results, 3 dimensional artwork and artwork with metallic components (including glitter) require 2 scans, one without polarization to capture the colors in reflective components. They are combined Photoshop® to complete the copy. A 50% additional charge is applied to the additional scan, plus a maximum of $30 for image assembly Photoshop®.

Restoration: $60 per hour, estimate provided.

File size is best determined by the output you require. If we are creating a reproduction for you, the file generated by the scan will generally be in the ranges stated above. For inkjet and photographic output, 300ppi scans are sufficient for maximum quality at sizes equal to the original. Resized 1Mb files for email/Web is provided at no additional charge. Specific reproduction resizing is charged at $10.00 each.

*Maximum file size (referred to as a "master file") is determined by the size and proportions of the original, but cannot exceed 309 Megabytes (e.g. a 30x40 image scanned at 300ppi). Most maximum size files will fall between 250 and 290 Megabytes. Maximum files from small pieces will allow for additional enlarging and can improve the quality of reproductions when rescaled down to size.

Discounts are available on quantities of same size, same media originals. Artwork can be scanned framed and under glass. If required or requested, artwork must be removed from a frame by the client. We will assist but cannot take responsibility for damage.
